Boston Eats!

I am in the mood for blogging on this gloomy Saturday afternoon, so let me take advantage of this rare moment before my blogging mojo sneaks out on me again. Let's talk about our most recent Summer getaway, 3 entries dedicated to our Boston trip coming up.

More than the sceneries, Stripe and I are planning to go back to Boston this Fall because of our dear Boston-based friends whom we sorely missed and yes, THE Food! Saying, I badly need
Weight loss pills that work fast is actually an understatement because within the 4-day trip, I have gained about 5-6 lbs! It would be easy for you to understand why I gained that much weight in such a short span of time by posting photos of everything I ate but I do not want to torture you (more so, myself) especially if you are on a diet. So, I am posting only my top food faves!

1.) Bartley's Burger: They say this is a must for every tourist visiting Harvard square. The burger is not as tasty as Five Guys and In&Out but I must say that these burgers are worth the try and the price. I feel like I am eating a healthy and very delicious burger, well because, they only serve GOURMET burgers. READ: Lean meat! Greasy is not in Mr. Bartley's vocabulary. Did I also mention, I had 2 servings? Burp!

2.) We were lucky enough to have Boston-based friends who cook really good! On our last night at Boston, we had dinner at the Anciano's. I thought, C was the best cook in the household, wait till you meet Chef M hee hee. Lobsters overload, oh yea, thanks to G&J for sponsoring the Lobsters hahahah!

3.) The Faneuil Hall Marketplace or known as the Quincy Market. This is where I indulged in authentic Pizza bagels, steamed Lobsters, etc... etc... (also Godiva chocolates hahah!) Oh and the magic show was magnificent!

4.) Durgin Park. Do not judge this restaurant based on appearance because as soon as you start opening their fresh steamers, you would want to go back for more. And yes, from amongst the restos we tried out in Boston, this is the only ZAGAT Certified. Definitely, worth the price and the experience.

5.) Lastly, Finale Desserts. Words are not enough to describe how good these dessert sample platter from Finale is, so I leave that to your imagination :).
