missing yaya.
The other day, mini-Stripe was bugging me to call his Mommy Tata (my mom) just to tell her that he misses her. So I obliged, even if it was 1am in Manila. Anyhow, when my mom finally answered the phone, mini-Stripe was looking for his Yaya instead. My mom promised to call us the next day so he could speak with yaya who was obviously sleeping at that time.
The next day, when mini-Stripe finally spoke with Yaya (who he calls yayay!) this was their conversation:
mini-Stripe: Yayay hello!Kung Pwede lang anak! Kung Pwede lang!
YAYA: Hi Ethan.
mini-Stripe: Come here please. Ride a Bicycle.
YAYA: (was just laughing the entire time while speaking in bicol with my mom: ate ate, garo man makasya ako sa bisikleta).
mini-Stripe: (who probably understood their conversation) Okay then, Wait for the Bus and Ride.
Hee!
Now, this is mini-Stripe's beloved Yaya: (kasya ba sya sa bike?)

That was really nice of your son to ask for his yaya here in The Philippines. Your yaya here must be very kind and I'm sure your son feels it too...
he and us adore his yaya :) eventhough, we are no longer there, we made sure to keep her for life :) thanks for the hop!
