Not many of you know that I took a basic medical transcription course last year. I have thought about it well before signing up for the course and I am 100% sure that the course will be worth it, besides it will take a relatively big chunk in my severance pay. But when I'm on it, I so wanted to give up instantly. Everyday we are thrown with medical terms such as Deep Vein Thrombosis etc.... by our instructor. He expected us to memorize every single medical term and its meaning the next day. I swear that was the most stressful days of my life but I am just proud I finished the course with flying colors. This experience is one for the books!
