blessing in disguise

Today, we were supposed to be spending our 1st weekend in this apartment and tomorrow, we are suppose to be spending a very quiet father's day in the apartment pool. Last Wednesday, a day before our move-in date when we were all packed, something came up and naudlot ang lipat bahay. It was partly because of my careless mistake but I won't go into details anymore and I won't dwell on the reasons behind because afterall, it came out as a blessing-in-disguise-kind-of-circumstance. Maybe, it wasn't for us after all. If you remember, this was our 2nd udlot lipat bahay. I wonder what God is telling us.
Immediately, the day after, we went to this townhome, filled out application forms and paid the deposit. This was Stripe's 1st choice from the beginning of this hunt, but I was really hesitant with 2 floor-types especially this one because it has an open backyard. I am biased with 2 floors for the prime reason that it would mean 2 floors to monitor where Ethan is (nope it's not really big, but it would be an ease on my part to monitor an energetic toddler in stairs-less apartment). When I saw the place, I love it especially the kitchen. It was a hundred dollars more expensive than the 1st but with the water, sewer and trash (plus a built-in microwave--which is not part of the udlot apartment, on top of the other furnishings) included in the lease, it was a good deal. The manager told us we'll hear from them next week. I ask everyone to please please pray for us, we so badly want to move. Next week would be my last week at school so I guess God wants me to focus on the move (if we get this) that's why he delayed it for another week or 2. Whatever he is telling us, we trust him to give us the most secured place. Believe me, I am getting paranoid with this living-alone-in-a-foreign-land set-up. I would probably ask Stripe to install alarms in every window and door!
